The Space Radiation Environment Workshop has become a near
annual tradition with previous extremely fruitful meetings held in
Dubna in 1993, Taos in 1994, Brussels in 1995, ESTEC in 1996 and
Moscow in 1997.
Following discussions amongst the organising committees for these
events and WRMISS, it has been decided that in 1999 they could be valuably
combined to run in succession during the week commencing 1st
November 1999. The site of the meeting was the new corporate
headquarters of the Defence Evaluation and Research Agency at
Farnborough in England.
